This shake makes a fantastic post workout option as it will meet the needs of both the protein and fast absorbing carbohydrates that muscles long for after intense training.

You can even boost the post workout recovery benefits by adding BCAA’s, glutamine, creatine or extra vitamin C.

This shake is both delicious and refreshing.  It should be consumed within 30 minutes of training to aid recovery.

  • 1 cup of watermelon – seedless
  • 1 medium kiwi without the skin
  • 1 scoop of vanilla Precision All Natural Whey Isolate or Precision I-PLX.  Any whey protein of your choice will also work.
  • 1 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk  ie:  Almond Breeze
  • ice

Blend all ingredients together in a blender and add as much ice as you like to create the consistency you enjoy.

Upgrade the  Yum Factor:  If you add lots of ice in the blender and then put the drink in the freezer for about 15-30 minutes…it comes out like a slushy.

Approx:  282 cals, 34gp, 28gc, 2gf
