Achieving the body you desire can be a reality. You just have to be prepared to take the steps that are required.

If I could summarize the criteria necessary to have a new body into three words then what would they be?

1. Persistence
2. Consistency
3. Determination
Of course….you have to be following the right strategies. If you are doing that and you pursue them with persistence, consistency and determination then a new body will be yours. It is not a question of if but really more one of when.

Client: Danielle Ruban Martin. Does she use persistence, consistency and determination? You bet!

It is no coincidence that the above three criteria also happen to be the same three that form the back bone in acheiving any major success in life.  This success could be  in business, marriage, parenting , or any aspect of personal growth.

If you are missing one of these big three then odds are you will have a hard time achieving your goal.

Before I go on to discuss how these three words can translate into the body of your dreams, let me take a moment to define the true meaning of each of these words. I think you need to be 100% certain on their true meanings if you are to make the best use of them.

The Merriam Webster Dictionary defines these words in the following way.

1. Persistence. To persist. To go on resolutely or stubbornly in spite of difficulties
2. Consistency. Agreement or harmony in parts or of different things.
3. Determination. Firm or fixed purpose.

I have to say that I say these same three words ingrained in the success of any of my clients who have achieved their goals. I even see it in myself when I set out to get in contest shape.   They really are the back bone of my formula.

The integration of nutrition, exercise, proper supplementation and lifestyle change are critical to achieve your new body.
Persistence, consistency and determination must be used in all of them.

Persistence requires a full on commitment to the achievement of your new body. You will hit road blocks and things will not always be convenient but you must be willing to push forward despite challenge.

If you back down from your goal every time you hit a snag then are working against yourself and the acheivement of that goal.

Sorry…I am not trying to rain on your parade but there are a lot of people out there who say they want to lose weight or get in their best shape ever but the second a barbeque comes up or they have to be somewhere that requires them to really pack their food then they throw in the towel. “I will start tomorrow.” they say. Tomorrow never comes because life is full of inconveniences and those who will be successful will be the ones who can adapt, commit and roll with the punches.

Consistency is critical to achieving a great body. If you are missing training, missing meals and not following a plan then you will not be asking for the best of what your body can achieve. Structure and schedule are important for many things in life and it is no different then forcing the body to make some serious changes. Inconsistent effort equals inconsistent results.

Determination is last but not least when it comes to achieving a great body. You must have full clarity on your goal and what you are working towards to be successful in it. Once you have that clarity and you commit yourself to pursue that goal despite obstacles; you are showing determination. I always say that all things worth doing are hard work. Whether it is starting a business or getting to the leanest and best condition you have ever been in. If it were easy then everyone would do it. You must rise above any obstacles with a razor sharp focus and determination.

There you have it….follow the right nutrition, training and supplementation strategies but let the above three criteria be the backbone of your formula and you have my word that you will be in the best shape of your life.
