This great recipe is a quick, simple and tasty snack to enjoy before bed.  It’s low on the carbs while being high on the protein to support optimal growth hormone release during sleep.  That is exactly what you want if a lean and mean body is your goal.

 

THE RECIPE:

1/2 cup fat free cottage cheese

2 tsp all natural peanut butter

1/2 scoop  chocolate whey protein- I prefer  I-PLX by Precision Supplements

Approx: 218cals, 31gp, 9.5gc, 5.35gf

Mix together and enjoy.

Another option is to blend this together in a blender and freeze it for about an hour.  It will form an ice cream like consistency.

You can adjust the serving size to your goals, body size and metabolic needs.  If you want to build muscle or lose fat then this snack is for you!
