There is a way that you can incorporate the joys of yummy french toast into your fat loss plan.

Fit French Toast

2 slices of Ezekiel Bread

4 egg whites

1 tsp of cinnamon

1 packet of sucralose – Splenda

Mix the egg whites, cinnamon and sweetener together using a whisk.

Spray frying pan with Pam cooking spray and heat on high until ready then reduce to medium heat.

place Ezekiel bread in mix for about 20-30 seconds on each side until it is fully saturated.  Place bread in frying pan and cook on each side until light brown in color

Serve with sugar free syrup or ED smith low sugar syrup.

Serves 1 person with 2 slices.

Approx cals: 200cals, 28gc, 19gp, 3gf- does not include if ED syrup is added.

Sugar Syrup- I like Josephs.   I also sometimes use sugar free chocolate sauce by Walden Farms.  Just a bit for flavor.

Other optional additions: Depending on if you are on general fat loss or contest prep or maintenance.

Flax seeds

Greek Yogurt topping with berries

Mixed frozen berries to create a syrup.
